PongBoardMiniGolf™ for Portable Or Custom Installation
AGS has adapted the traditional beer pong game played on ping-pong tables to Mini Golf!
For venues seeking a sturdy, rugged pong golf game that can withstand daily use, Adventure Golf & Sports (AGS) introduces PongBoardMiniGolf™ – a popular beer pong game for adults, but also playable for children and families who can enjoy the same fun putting concept without the beer. It can also be custom installed for more permanent “in ground” use.
Portable PongBoardMiniGolf™
The game board is a patented panel system, assembled into a 3’ 9¾” wide by 19’ ¾” long platform which includes six-hole cups at each end. Hole cups are ½” deep so a ball can come to rest in the cup or go in-and-out of the cup and into a different hole cup. Holes are color coded for use in the pong board scoring rack.
Portable board comes with Scoring Unit with space for 4 putters and golf balls. Sliding scoring balls have six colors to match the hole cups. When one team has slid all balls to one side, the game is ended.
Play is the same as traditional pong golf (also known as Golf Pong, Putter Pong or Putterball) where players take turns putting from their side toward their opponent’s hole cups at the opposite end. The first team to sink golf balls into all 6 cups at their opponent’s end, wins. Players track the scoring by sliding a mini golf ball on the rack from one end to the other.
As in other games, such as bean bag toss. the players can switch teams or stay with the same team to try to beat their opponents in a second round
Optional Pong Board Custom Installation
Venues who prefer featuring a more permanent Pong Board game can call on AGS to fabricate the game with cups installed snugly below the putting surface. In these instances, when a putt is made in one hole cup, that cup is removed and turned upside down, traditionally requiring the losing team to have a drink. This continues until all the cups on one side are turned over representing the winning team.
To enable turning the cup upside down yet avoid jeopardizing the turf surface, AGS designed a “hole cup remover” which is mounted on the end of a golf shaft with a putter grip on the other end. When the hole cup is turned over and slid into place, a computer cut piece of putting turf mounted on the other end restores the area to a seamless turf playing surface.
